LadyJay.net is the website for the artist, designer and philanthropist Jan Tompkins, who frequently goes by the street name of Lady Jay.

Growing up as a military brat provided Jan with many opportunities to travel and see the world, allowing her to enrich and broaden her view of the world and its diverse array of culture and community. As an adult, she has become a modern-day renaissance woman, excelling in the arts with a solid background in science, math and communication. Her affinity for culture and emerging technology complete the package, keeping her on the cutting edge when the underground rises above ground and capitalism takes notice.

She is the Jan of many trades - designer by day, philanthropist by night and ninja in her waking dreams. She works mainly as a motion graphics artist for television and film, with a focus on branding and identity. Chances are, you have seen her work on TV or in the theater on more than one occasion. She founded and runs the charitable non-profit United Divas Inc, which empowers women artists to be leaders, role models and innovators. United Divas also offers a scholarship and workshops for aspiring and practicing artists. As a community organizer, Jan participates in several multimedia events a year, sometimes planning and sometimes performing and exhibiting. When she isn’t doing any of the above, she moonlights as a dj and practices her ninja prowess in her sleep.
